Why are we still doing this today

This is sad in this day and age. In a time where marriage equality and the basic rights that we as heterosexuals take for granted is being hard fought for (and won) in the courts, I can not say my view of the gay man or lesbian has changed much over the last 10yrs. Now before you try to tar and feather me for being insensitive let me explain. I used to be 200% against homosexuality. That has changed over the years. It has changed to the point that I now welcome same sex marriage and will support it just has hard as I support the fight against racism and sexism. But I’ve noticed over the last few years more and more gay characters on TV, and just like with the black community they all play the same stereotype (more on that in a later post). With men they are mostly frilly, impeccably dressed, sex crazy, girly, effeminate, loud through my gayness in your face and you’ll like it types. In other words the primary type of gay man that most straight men hate. Whn I think of this type I cant help but to think of Miss Jay (I think thats his name) from Americas next top model as a real life version. Now I will admit that over years hollywood has toned down that image. But are shows like Queer eye for the straight guy really doing anything positive for your movement. Now we have (in my opinion) the most famous TV gay couple. Cam & Mitchell from Modern family. Sadly this is the bases that I and most other Straight Americans have to go off of for gay men. Both into the blatant stereotypes mentioned above with the exception of a few. How can you expect America to accept gay marriage when all you display the very type of gay man that scares most heterosexual men. This is all most of us have to go on. I cant say for sure I know any men who are gay. I have my suspicions about some but once again they are based off of what Hollywood has taught me. If you want us to accept you then show us the other side. Show us the office worker who is just like us, the guy that likes sports, beer, guys night out, normal man that just so happens to be gay.

Also just putting this out there dont fight for all of us to welcome you with open arms. I am sick and tired of being told that because I dont like the sight of 2 men kissing that I’m homophobic. I dont like that sight. I’m a straight man, there is nothing attractive about it. I want to gag when ever I see it. Does that make me wrong, No. Here’s why, Despite those feelings I want you to be able to get married. I want you to have all the same rights and privileges I have as a straight man. I just think its disgusting. That does not make me wrong, or homophobic. It makes me my own person. I dont like cauliflower but I dont discriminate against those that eat it. Same thing here. So stop trying to change that aspect. That will only serve to hurt you in the long run.

Drugs should be made legal. Part 1

That’s right you heard me.I thing drugs, all drugs should be made legal. Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Ecstasy, LSD (Acid), etc…… All of it. Even crack, yes crack. I know some of you are saying I have lost my damn mind, but I assure you I have not. The war on drugs has lasted for 40yrs. 40 years and we (the American Government) has accomplished nothing. Yes every now and then they will show a huge drug bust but for that 100lbs of pot they caught, 5000lbs more make it into the country. Its easier than ever to get drugs now. For all the laws they have in place, if  I want pot I can walk down the street and buy it. Same goes for any type of drug. If I don’t know where to get it I know someone who does. This goes for 95% of the American population. I know all the arguments on why drugs should be made illegal. They kill, they cause violence, they cause crime, they destroy families, They cause the body harm, They fund terrorism activities Well lets look at these.

  1. They kill you/cause the body harm – Is this not the same for smoking, excessive drinking, over eating? This argument can used for anything. I want to ban skateboarding it causes harm to the body.
  2. They cause violence/crime – Once again this can be applied to more than one legal substance. How many people have you heard were drunk when they commented a crime or beat the hell out of his wife.
  3. They destroy families – And again, this can also be said about alcohol. Personally my family was destroyed by this. So why is alcohol any different.
  4. They fund terrorism activities – Yes they do now but if they were legal we would not have to worry about that. The Government would have oversight on that.

While these are all valid arguments they don’t hold up when challenged. Look at what happened when the government did prohibition, we ended with the likes of Al Capone. Suddenly violence skyrocketed Prohibition was from 1919-1933. Here is a quote from the first day of prohibition by the Reverend Billy Sunday;

“The reign of tears is over. The slums will soon be a memory. We will turn our prisons into factories and our jails into storehouses and corncribs. Men will walk upright now, women will smile and children will laugh. Hell will be forever for rent.”

This is what happened during prohibition;

  • Police funding: INCREASED $11.4 Million
  • Arrests for Prohibition Las Violations: INCREASED 102+%
  • Arrests for Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct: INCREASED 41%
  • Arrests of Drunken Drivers: INCREASED 81%
  • Thefts and Burglaries: INCREASED 9%
  • Homicides, Assault, and Battery: INCREASED 13%
  • Number of Federal Convicts: INCREASED 561%
  • Federal Prison Population: INCREASED 366%
  • Total Federal Expenditures on Penal Institutions: INCREASED 1,000%


Things got worse during that time, way worse than anyone thought. Now this ended in the 30’s The one thing we learned during this 14yr fuck up is that people want to and will get fucked up. See Prohibition had the reverse effect that was intended, While drinking fell off in the first year or 2 it sharply rose to over 60% the pre-prohibition level. That means 60% more people started drinking during that time. Now it seems to me that you made a substance illegal and more people started using it. Also this caused a sharp increase in organized crime, and corruption. The Government had created a black market practically overnight.

The “war on drugs started in 1972. Have we not learned our lesson from Prohibition. Since 1972 we have spent 1 Trillion dollars that’s $1,000,000,000,000 That money could have easily helped in so many other places. Nixon started this war with a budget of $100 million budget now it sits at $15 Billion per year. Here’s how that trillion breaks down over the past 40yrs;

  •  $20 billion to fight the drug gangs in their home countries. In Colombia, for example, the United States spent more than $6 billion, while coca cultivation increased and trafficking moved to Mexico — and the violence along with it.
  •  $33 billion in marketing “Just Say No”-style messages to America’s youth and other prevention programs. High school students report the same rates of illegal drug use as they did in 1970, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says drug overdoses have “risen steadily” since the early 1970s to more than 20,000 last year.
  • $49 billion for law enforcement along America’s borders to cut off the flow of illegal drugs. This year, 25 million Americans will snort, swallow, inject and smoke illicit drugs, about 10 million more than in 1970, with the bulk of those drugs imported from Mexico.
  • $121 billion to arrest more than 37 million nonviolent drug offenders, about 10 million of them for possession of marijuana. Studies show that jail time tends to increase drug abuse.
  • $450 billion to lock those people up in federal prisons alone. Last year, half of all federal prisoners in the U.S. were serving sentences for drug offenses.

The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer is a powerful tool, but what is it? How many deeply devoted people have prayed to win the lottery? How many have won? How many parents have prayed to the deity of their choice everyday by a child’s bedside for a full recovery only to have to bury their child. A religious person may say your not supposed to pray for money and that it was just that child’s time to leave this earthly prison. Well since I’m not a religious man I have looked elsewhere for answers.
I will say that I do believe in the power of prayer. I don’t believe that “God” is the one answering. Many of the things that we pray for are just stupid if God exists as in the Abrahamic (Christian, Jewish, Muslim) religions. You should not be praying to win the lottery, have your sports team win, for good weather for your vacation etc… “God” does not answer those prayers.

Now the way I see it many of the things that people contribute to praying is just dumb luck or coincidence. If its not then God has a sick sense of humor or judgement. The reason I say this is, take a look a some natural disasters. You can have a tornado level an entire block of houses but leave one house completely undamaged. Now everyone on that block is religious and goes to church and follows the bible to the best of their ability. What makes that one family better to where God chose to spare their house. I believe that prayer has no power to change tangible things. If the Pope lost a limb no amount of praying would bring that limb back. For that matter if anyone lost a limb no amount of praying would bring it back. Bringing back a limb is a tangible thing. The only thing praying seems to effect are things that also can be proven without prayer. Such as curing the sick, winning the lottery, getting a new better paying job. You cannot prove that prayer affected any of those senairos. Just as I cannot prove that prayer did not affect them. There are many medical “miracles” out there that have attributed to prayer but I say no, the majority of these miracles are performed by well trained doctors. The handful that are unexplained, that’s what I’m getting to.

It has already been proven that prayer has effect on the mind. It has also been proven that active members of any religion tend to be on the healthier side. I say this is the power of the mind. The same way monk can raise their body temp or slow their heartbeat to a near stop or a 90lb mother can lift a car off her child. This has to do with a focal point

If you are sick let’s say with cancer you stand a better chance of survival if you have a spiritual family. This is because knowing or believing that you have a God by your side helping you through this trying time provides you with a focal point for healing. Knowing that you have others besides your blood family praying for your recovery provides you with not only a focal point but additional reasons to want to get better. These focal points allow the body to perform wonderful and miraculous things. This power is coming from within you but through your belief. This is why prayer works on things like healing, but not on things like regrowing a severed body part or fixing a deformed limb.

Some people say those who believe in God and miracles are delusional. I don’t believe that. I say they are misinformed.  I know God exist but I don’t believe that he exists the way the Bible says. I know that miracles do happen, but not how and why  most people  think or believe they do. The power of prayer is no different. It works, but not for the reasons people say it does.

Obama: Why you should vote him in for a second term. Part 2


Now I was not going to cover Santorum, I thought he was a lost cause. But his recent surge in the polls dictates that I include him the list. So with out any further fanfare here it is.

Rick Santorum. Lets start with some quotes that this man has said.

So Rick I ask you, If society deemed it wrong that interracial straight couples could not not adopt, does that mean you would be fine with it. Remember it wasn’t not very long ago that interracial couples would not allowed to marry (1967). It wasn’t until very recently that interracial couples stopped having a hard time adopting kids period. So what your saying is that the rights of the minority should be left to the majority. Is this how you feel about Civil rights?

There are currently 311,591,917 people in the US. So what you saying is that 103,863,972 abortions have happened. Now this is since the US started keping offical count after the Row vs Wade verdict in 1973. Now when I do the math as of right now there are approx 1.3million abortions per year in the US. Now if we assume that that number was constant since 1973 we come to a total of 52 million abortions since 1973. This is a huge number. (I had to recheck the facts because I didnt believe it) But it is still a far cry from the 103 million that you claim. you basiclly doubled the number. Now as of 2009 there were 425,000 kids in foster care and we cant find enough parents for them. What are we going to do with and extra 52 million children. Oh I know force the parents to keep them. Ummm hows that working now with the children who are born. I dont see to many of these 52 million kids working to pay into Social Security.

Rick Rick Rick Rick. Yes you love your kids, you love your brother, but are you in love with them them? Do you love them the same way you love your wife?

Wow. Birth control is harmful to our society? Your against abortion and birth control? News flash Rick your not going to stop premarital sex. Its not going to happen. Premarital sex has been happening since biblical days. Your not going to stop it. Here is what will happen. Stop all birth control and abortions will go through the roof, both illegal and legal.

So what your saying is that poor, low-skilled people can not climb the economic ladder with a collage degree. But I do find it interesting that you choose to highlight women in this statement.

Well in my experence both parents need to work to provide for the family. We all are not millionares Rick.

Wow. Just Wow. You don’t believe in privacy? Well you know what let me put a camera in your house. Also How the Fuck do you get the courts saying that you have the right to consensual sex at home to adultery. In your own words the right of privacy does not exist.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? So should we outlaw marriage for those who don’t want kids. Not to mention, marriage not about love? WTF man. talk about alternitve lifestyles. So you say marriage should be like applying for a job. I’m 6’3″, no serious diseases in my family, Every male in my family has lived till at least 80 and I make good money.

Wow there was a lot on this man. You know I have to say I hope Santorum win the GOP election. You will ensure Obama gets a second term.

“ObamaCare” – Why this is one great law.

The affordable care act or as it has come to be know ObamaCare is a law the President Obama signed into law March 23 2010. This law will provide those who have no health insurence or can’t afford health insurence some form of insurence. Now this bill alone is note worthy. When this law was passed there was an estimated 46 million (46,000,000) people without health insurence with another estimated 36 million under insured. That’s 82 million people or almost 1/3 of the US population this law would directly help, but it doesn’t stop there.
This law also tells insurence companies that they have to accept people that have pre-exsisting conditions. (Why this part was not a law already I don’t know.) This law also states that women should not pay for birth control. (This has people all fired up.) Now what a lot of people don’t understand especially men, is many woman use the pill not only as a form of contraceptive but for a varity of reasons, like heavy bleeding and to reduce other symptoms of their periods.
Now to get into where this law will have a huge effect, the economy. It’s basic economics if you think about it. You have a total of 82 million people that can now go to the hospital/doctor without worry of breaking the bank. Most of these people will go at the first sign of trouble because they can and not wait till their knocking on deaths door. This will cause a healthier population. A healthier population is more productive. Also hospitals/doctors will see an influx of people coming in. This means that they will have to hire more doctors, nurses, x-ray techs, administration personal, janitors, etc. Because of the influx of paperwork coming into the insurence companies will have to hire more workers. Because more people will be going to the doctors the pharmaceutical industry will see an influx of medication being sold so they will have to hire more people. Now that we have hired thousands if not tens of thousands of people that are directly related to these 82 million people. These new hires will have jobs and be able to shop. Then places like Wal-mart, Target, Sears, etc will have to hire people to keep up with the demand. They will also have to order more product. That has to be made and shipped somehow and by someone. Not to mention that the elderly, the ones that have already seen just some of the effects of ObamaCare. Ask any elderly person that is currently on meds and they will tell you that their meds are cheaper. Guess what they do with that money? They pump it back into the economy. Notice all the talk lately about how there are more jobs? So whats wrong with this.

  • Healthier population.
  • More jobs.
  • Better economy

If this is Socialism then sign me up.

Why can’t Gays/Lesbians get Married?

I’ll be the first to tell you, I think homosexuality is disgusting. I dont like it, I dont want to see it (unless it’s women. Still wrong, but fun to watch) and I think its immoral. But, I will fight to my last breath to for a gay man or woman to have the same rights I have as straight man.

I know a lot of people dont like to hear this but here it is. The fight for Gay rights is the same thing as the fight for civil rights. I know its not exactly the same thing but its the same game in a different park. To prove my point how many black folk out there would flip if they said you could no longer get married? Or here is a better example. How about in today’s day and age if they said blacks you can nolonger ride the same bus as us “normal” folk. But because we want to be fair we will create a bus system just for you but it wont be everywhere you go. Would you sit down and take that? I dont think so.
Now I know many of you say say is wrong and that’s final. Well my argument to you is who made you the authority on right and wrong. Now its my belief that homosexuality is some thing that you can’t help. You are simply born that way. There are many studies that back that claim up, but I gather this from one piece of information. Who would volunteer to be part of a sect of humanity that routinely gets treated unfairly and sometimes killed because of what they are. I’ll tell you right now if this were slave times, I look like I’m white, guess who would be a free man. I’d help out on the underground railroad but I ain’t going to be a slave if I can pass as white. But if my say so isn’t good enough then here is a link to a study in the U.K.

Let me guess what your next arguement will be. It just not natural. Well let me tell you something, homosexuality has been around and well documented since the Roman empire. They even talked about homosexuality in the bible. Sodam and Gomora ring any bells. Where do u think we got the word sodomy from. But that doesn’t cover it not being natural. What if I told you it does occur in nature? What you don’t believe me? Take a look.

Now these two links are from wikipedia and the NY times. They show homosexual behavior does occur in the animal kingdom. So the only argument left is the religious one. It goes against the bible. We what if I showed you where the bible said slavery was ok? Would you then say that well I guess slavery was ok. Or how about where the bible says that women should have no authority over men and should know her place. (You can look at my previous posts for that info.)Would you women then agree.

Or how about this verse.

John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Now I’m no scholar on the bible though I do know my far share. Does this verse not say you should not judge anyone unless you your self are free of sin? If you need it put even simpler

Mat 7:1- 2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Are you not judging these people? How can you call yourself a good Christian and still judge them. If this is your belief then you are condemning yourself to the same fate that you say they will get. Now if I was a religious person I would be scared.

Now that brings us to what I feel is the real reason. Once you peel back all the layers this is what you have left. It makes you feel uncomfortable. Well you know what GET OVER IT!!!!! THEIR HERE, THEIR QUEER, GET USED TO IT. It makes me uncomfortable too. I dont like having to explain to my child why 2 men are kissing or why this guy is dressing like a woman. But you know what those are my feeling and just because some thing makes me feel uncomfortable does not give me the right to deny anyone the same rights that I myself have.

Lets look at the some documents that were written by our forefathers:

We the People  of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, doordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Look at the bold words, Secure the Blessings of Liberty. Liberty, does that not mean freedom. Being able to Marry who you want is freedom.

Here is another one:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the the pursuit of Happiness.

There is that word again. Liberty. Hey what about that other line Certain unalienable rights. You know that does mean marriage. Oh and what about the all men are created equal. Oh let me guess they only meant straight men. I don’t think so. You know if they meant that they would have said that. Homosexuality was around and known about in 1776. So what is your reason. What reason do you have to deny another person the same rights and privileges that you as a heterosexual person have now. I sure hope its a good one.

The Religiously Stupid

I will start this off by saying that I am against religion, all religion. But I’m not against a belief in God or even many Gods. I was raised in an episcopal family. I was an alter boy for 10yrs of my life. I have studied the Bible, Koran, and Torah. I even considered going into the ministry as a teenager.

I have encountered many religiously stupid people in my life. If you don’t know what a religiously stupid person is then let me explain. They come in many forms and religions and its almost like a disease. The ones your probably familiar with are the radical Muslims. This is the most severe form of R.S. (Religion Stupidity). These people are willing to kill themselves and many others for what they believe their God told them to do. But like I said they come in all shapes and sizes.

The easiest way to find one is try to have an open discussion about religion with someone. If they get pissed off because you keep stating provable facts or your beliefs that differ from theirs then your dealing with someone who suffers from R.S. There are many levels to this. This is the most common you will find, and they are not really that bad. Nobody like to have their beliefs challenged. But it does get worse, the nest level up is an inability to accept facts.

Example:
You tell your friend that you believe aliens do exist because of the vast countless amount of stars out there, its almost impossible that we are the only ones. They respond by telling you aliens cannot exist because God would have mentioned them in the bible. You respond by saying God didn’t mention the dinosaurs so does that mean they didn’t exist? Your friend at a lost  goes off on some tangent that inexplicably ends with you going to hell for even thinking that aliens exist and that your only trying to confuse them. This is a sufferer of R.S.
The next type is also very common , especially now a days. This is the one that wants to push their beliefs on you. These are the ones that get on all our nerves. I’m not talking about simply going door to door. Im talking about the ones that actually try and do make laws that suit their religious beliefs. If it is immoral in the bible then there should be a law against it. I believe gay marriage is wrong and goes against God. Ban it. I think abortion is murder because it goes against against Gods will. Ban it. These are the people that even though something is not affecting them, they need, they have to intervene and make life hard for everyone around them because they believe they are doing Gods will.

If you run into these people the best you can do is just ignore them. Don’t even give them the time of day. They are not worth your time and all you will do is give yourself a headache arguing with them. The people that are not even willing to look at facts, well there is no hope for them. Just save yourself the time and walk away.

This is why I don’t like or agree with religion. I understand the need to believe in a power greater then yourself but many people take it far. Too many people try to force their religious beliefs on others in one way or another. Religion as a whole has caused way to many deaths in the world and held back advancements for hundreds of years. Most people don’t mind that there are other religions hell many of them out right accept it and think its perfectly fine. That’s a good thing. But its the bad apples like Pat Robertson that ruin the whole thing.

The Entitlement Generations

I look around and see this everywhere. People thinking that they are entitled to one thing or another. They don’t want to put in the work they just think that they should get it. This comes in many forms and is ruining our society. I hear people say I’m to good to work at McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Target etc…. I see it with kids telling parents what they are going to do instead of the other way around. People this is ruining our society from the bottom up. Now as a person of color that has lived in both black and white neighborhoods I see the difference in how it affects the neighborhoods. This seemed to start with some of our parents generation (the baby boomers) and the later in that generation you are the more likely you were to give your child/children a sense of false entitlement. It on got worse with my generation and now we can see the real results with our kids. Here are some ways we really fucked up and our parents fucked us up.

Just giving money to the kids – Now this is more in my generation.

Kid – Mom can I have $20.

Mom – Why?

Kid – I wanna go out with my friends.

Mom – Didnt you just get your allowence?

Kid – Yes but I spent that already.

Mom – On what?!?!

Kid – I dunno.

Mom – You need to start being more responsible with your money. every week you ask me for more money.

Kid – BUT MOM!!!!!!

Mom – Here.

Now this sound familiar? It should we all tried it on our parents but with our parents probably half of  them said no and meant it. Now what do we do we remember how bad w felt when our parents said no and they we say yes. This is not teaching our kids to know how to manage their money. We are setting them up for failure. This is also teaching them that no matter what there will always be someone there to give them what they want. This is providing them with zero work ethic. So when they do get older they are going to go do what will give them the biggest payout with the least amount of effort. Unfortunately in the real world that means crime

The other side to this is when children get an allowance just because. I remember to get my measly $10 a week I had to wash the dishes, take out the trash, and clean my room every Saturday plus keep it clean over the week. If I couldn’t do this then I got no money. (I didn’t get much money) Now I see kids getting an allowance just because. This is very bad, this is worse then giving them money because they ask. All you are teaching your child is someone will always give me what I want and I dont have to do anything to get it.

The next one that gets is when parents buy all the name brand crap for their kids. If you can afford it fine. But if your still living at home and got a kid or your struggling to pay your real bills WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO PAY $80 FOR A PAIR OF SNEAKERS FOR A 6MONTH OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you continue to do this through out their childhood. By the age of 5 your child sees you struggling to keep the lights on but also sees that you just paid $1000 for his 5 pieces of clothing for your self or for them. If you showed your child the right way you would have spent $1000 on bills and then $200 on clothes., but no we cant have that can we. You cant be caught in K-mart specials. Your kid has to have the new Jordans – $180 another pair of sneakers because he cant run around in the Jordans  – $100 Pair of Jeans $100-150, Shirt $100 – 200. For the amount of this you could have paid cell, internet, cable, home phone, gas, & electric and have some left over. Teach your kids the value of $$$$ This way when they start buying their own stuff they will think twice. Even if you come from a wealthy family there is no need to buy a child who does nothing to earn it all these name brand clothes.

This latest gereration is going to have it the worse. I’m seeing people getting out of college demanding 50k-60k a year because they have a bachlours degree. Turning down jobs that pay 35-40K. saying they aint paying me enough. Just because you have a degree doesn’t mean that you get paid. They have no experince but they want 50-60k to start. Real life doesnt work like that. Then they want to live at home with mommy and daddy and not pay any bills. “Why should I pay bills at my parents house? I didn’t pay them when I was in school” I’ll tell you why because your an adult now. That what adults do. Even worse the parents let them do it.

Its not just the parents that are screwing our kids, its the schools. The rules that the schools are coming up with now are insane. I’m reading study after study that is shows that playing tag is detrimental to a child’s psyche.   Along with a ban on dodge ball in many states now for being exclusionary. Give me a fucking break.

You know what these games do they teach kids that life if not fair, your not always going to win, they teach you how deal with loss, How to work with others to win. One lesson I learned at an early age that has stuck with me is, not everyone gets picked. For a whole school year I was always the last one picked to play sports. I just was not good at football, baseball, basketball etc… Did it hurt that I was the last one picked? Did it hurt that there where times where someone who wasent even trying to play was picked instead of me. Damn right it hurt. I cried. I ra home to my mom in tears. Guess what she told me. If you want to get picked then practice. And I did, I practiced running, tackaling, hitting the ball, pitching. I got better. I went from shamfully bad to just bad. I wasent always the last one picked now. But that taught me very valuble life lessons. 1, I just sucked at sports. (I did become pretty good on the defensive line) 2 If you want something you have to go for it. 3 Nothing is going to be handed to me. I have to work for everything. Those simple life lessons were learned by the age of 7. I have carried that through life and I have done pretty good for myself so far.   Another thing schools are doing are everyone plays sports. This is fine for grade school and younger but in high school, no. High school is supposed to truly prepare you for the adult world. Not everyone gets to play in life. There are always going to be those that are bigger and better then you. Do you think that if a company has an opening for 20 people and 21 people apply, that they are going to hire that 21st person just because they dont want him to feel left out. No they are going to hire the 20 and tell the 21st sorry you didnt make it. better luck next time. But by allowing these children who dont have an athletic bone in their body to still play ball because you dont want them to feel left out your actually hurting that child rather then helping them. Your teaching them that no matter what they will receive a chance when it’s not true. Your not making them earn their position. Your teaching them that they will always “make the team” and when you teach a child this for 18 yrs its devastating the first time they shot down, but now their an adult and dont know what to do. They have never had that disappointment in their life.

The only thing that you are entitled to in this life is just that LIFE. No one is going to support you. Yes we may help you but we will not and should not support you.  Go back to the old days where parents were parents.

To my black brothers

First thing first, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?! I am so sick of seeing you niggas fuck everything up. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not calling all you brothers niggas. If you need clarification then read further.

  • If you don’t have a job and your not looking for a job and your not interdependently wealthy then you is a nigga.
  • If you walking around boasting about how many baby momma’s you have then you is a nigga.
  • If you are not taking care of your kids then you is a nigga.
  • If you talk shit to or disrespecting women then you is a nigga.

There are many other examples. If you fall into any of these categories then you is a nigga and this is directed to you. You niggas get so pissed off when someone calls you a nigga, well guess what the truth hurts nigga. You dont want be a nigga? STOP ACTING LIKE ONE!!!!! Its niggas like you that are holding back the good black folk back. Now when I say good black folk I am not talking folks that go yes massa what can I get you massa? I’m talking about the black brother that gets up at 6am to go to work to support his family. I mean a real job not slanging. I’m talking about the black man that respects the woman  he is with and respects all women in general. Not the nigga out on the corner hollering “hey shortie, come her let me holla at you” No a real brother walks to the woman. A real brother will actually talk to a woman. A real brother will not call a woman a bitch, slut or whore. A real brother will not hit a woman.  But a nigga, a nigga will lie, cheat and steal. He will cheat on his girl/wife. He will disrespect women left and right. Instead of trying to do something anything to better his neighborhood and the biggest thing he can do is raise his child to be good upstanding human. My real brother will raise their kids properly. He will show his son how to be a man and how to raise a family.

You wonder why people look down at us. Its because you niggas are giving them a reason to. Your out there selling drugs, killing your own people. Its hard not to get a stereotype of a culture when thats all you see. I live in Phila, we have had 46 murders as of Feb 16th. Take a guess at how many were commented by a black man. I cant give you an exact number but it was  the majority. How is anyone supposed to take us seriously when shit like this happens. Not only that but it give the brothers who are actually trying to do something with there lives an almost insurmountable mountain to overcome. All your doing is setting back all the work done by MLK, Malcolm X, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton.

All you want to do is bitch and moan there aint no jobs, but at the same time you aint qualified to do shit. You wanna sit there and bitch how the “man” is keeping me down but you cant do a damn thing except ask do you want fries with that. That isn’t the man keeping you down thats your own stupidity keeping you down. Do something with your life.

To my real brothers, keep up the good work. You are a shining example to all of us.

Obama: What He Has Done Wrong


I want to first point out that I am a Obama supporter, but that does not mean that he has been a perfect president. He has laid the foundation for future generations to come and build on. On the other side Obama has (at least in my eyes) made some rather serious mistakes during his tenure as president.

Illegal Immigration:

The DREAM Act – While this act doe s seem to offer some promise what it actually is doing is encouraging illegal immigrants to come to this country with their children before the bill gets passed. I’m all for giving people a chance but if you came to this country illegally then you broke the law knowingly or unknowingly. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. If you want to come to this country than there are rules you need to follow. What services do you bring or are you going to be a burden on our country. Another consequence of this bill is, if the minor is under the age of 18 and found to be in the country illegally then what happens to his parents if he is allowed to stay. The answer is they get to stay.

In my line of work I have come across many people born and raised in different countries, do you know what all of them had in common? They all came here the right way. There are many ways that someone may get into this country. You have student Visas, work Visas, Hell my ex-wife came here illegally but still got her green card (before I married her) So If you have been in this country for years and you have not learned the language, or even attempted to get a greencard then you need to leave. Your lazy and we have enough lazy people here already.

The Fix:

If we want to fix illegal immigration then here is what you do. Pass a federal law that states unless the child going to school has a SSN then they cannot attend school. Pass another federal law that makes companies have to pay a huge fine ( like $500,000 +) per undocumented worker. Expedite the deportation process.

On the flip side I think that since we do have so many illegals here already one quick fix if they want their citizenship, if they qualify for military service then they should do 4yrs of service with full citizenship status after 4 successful years of service. You can stream line the process of getting your greencard/citizenship for those who have received their work visas or student visas. After 4 years of study/work in this country then the process is complete. If you graduate college with a 4 yr degree or better than you are automatically a citizen. This will give illegals something to work toward and root out the ones that don’t want to do anything. Right now the system is to lax on illegals.

Economic Collapse:

Yes Obama inherited this F.U.B.A.R. (for those of you who do not know: Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition) of an economic mess from George W. Bush. But that does not mean he had to try the same exact methods to fix it. For godsakes Obama you were against the bailouts in the first go around but then you turned around and did the exact same thing. Now I know the bailouts worked to some degree but you made the exact same mistake that predecessor made. You put no restrictions on what the banks could and could not do with the money.  All the banks did was to pay out huge bonuses to their executives that put us in this mess and then horde the money for themselves. I know the money was meant to go to the small businesses but you gave them the money with no strings attached. All you said was pay it back and some of them have yet to do that. Many companies went under because the money you gave the banks was not given to the small businesses and this only served to further worsen the crisis. It was only when the banks realized oh shit we have to give some of this money away or they would still fail because the people would take action did they start giving away.

The Fix:

Simple, hold companies liable for their past and future actions. Stop letting companies get “to big to fail” Our economic wellbeing should not lie on the backs of a handful of international companies. If we continue that practice then we are doomed to failure.

National Defense Authorization Act: 

Where do I start with this one. You have given the United States Military the right to detain American Citizens indefinitely. WTF PREZ. Detain our own people because they are suspected of having ties with terrorist. Well what qualifies as suspected ties. Some one who shakes hands with a terrorist, or how about uses the same bank, lives on the same block. This is a very slippery slope. Who determines if these ties are real.
The real issue here is the blanent disregard of our highest law, This law is a slap in the face every American citizen natural born or not. It’s bad enough that we have to look over our shoulders because of the patriot act but now we have to worry about the U.S. Army kicking in our door because u think we support terrorist. Then on top of that you take away one of the main rights that our brave young men and women have died for. The right to due process. That is a spit in the face of the American people. It’s things like this that cause us not to trust you. This one bill is enough for me to second guess giving you my vote. I understand you had “reservations” about signing this bill. I even understand that you signed it because it had a lot of great items in the bill. But this is one that you should have passed on.

The Fix:

Repeal that section of the bill, or the entire bill, then pass it again with out this section. The people are on your side. This is no time to play politics.

These are the worse things that
Obama has done. But he has done plenty of good. (check Obama: why we should vote him in a second time) I wrote this to show that no matter who you vote for there will be things that they do that will not seem right. Make sure you educated about who you vote for and don’t follow the crowd just because.
